Clovelly Beach:
Nestled between Bronte and Coogee, Clovelly Beach offers a unique experience with its calm, crystal-clear waters and distinctive concrete sea walls. The natural bay provides a protected swimming environment, making it ideal for families and snorkelers. The underwater world at Clovelly is a hidden treasure, showcasing a vibrant marine life and underwater trails. For those seeking a tranquil and serene escape, Clovelly Beach is a must-visit.
Gordons Bay:
Gordon's Bay Beach in Sydney, can be found nestled between Bronte and Clovelly. It offers a secluded spot for swimming and arguably the best beach for snorkeling, nestled between rocky cliffs. It's a hidden gem for locals and visitors alike to enjoy coastal beauty. Perfect for those who prefer perching on rocks rather than sand. The beach has no sand space to lay out.
Bondi Beach:
No list of Sydney's best beaches is complete without mentioning the iconic Bondi Beach. Renowned globally for its golden sands, world-class surfing, and vibrant atmosphere, Bondi is a hub of energy and excitement. Surf enthusiasts can catch the perfect wave, while sunbathers can soak up the sun along the expansive shoreline. Bondi's buzzing promenade offers an array of trendy cafes, shops, and the famous Bondi Icebergs Club, providing a perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment. We lived here for 10 years, we can confirm it is definitely one of the best Sydney beaches.
Dee Why Beach:
Located on the northern beaches, Dee Why Beach is a family-friendly destination with its long stretch of sand, inviting waves, and an array of recreational activities. The beachside promenade is lined with restaurants, cafes, and parks, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll or a picnic. The inviting atmosphere and stunning sunsets make Dee Why Beach a popular choice for both locals and visitors seeking a laid-back coastal experience.
Whale Beach:
For those craving a more secluded and exclusive beach experience, Whale Beach is a hidden gem. Tucked away on the northern shores, this pristine beach is surrounded by lush vegetation and offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The expansive sands and rolling waves make Whale Beach a favorite among surfers and those seeking a quiet, idyllic retreat. The breathtaking views from the elevated vantage points add to the charm of this coastal haven.
Garie beach
A favouirite day trip for us is to head to the Royal National Park, do some bushwalking and head to Garie beach. All the beaches around the national park are so picturesque with the bushland meeting the beach. Garie beach is renowned for excellent surf breaks, and stunning natural scenery, including rugged cliffs and bushland. The beach is popular for swimming, surfing, picnicking, and bushwalking along nearby trails. It is a serene escape within the natural beauty of the Royal National Park.
Balmoral Beach:
Situated in the affluent suburb of Mosman, Balmoral Beach is a harbourside gem with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. This has been our go-to Sydney beach after moving to the lower north shore of Sydney. There is something really special about Balmoral on a sunny evening. The atmosphere is amazing. The sheltered waters make it ideal for swimming and kayaking, while the white sandy shores provide a perfect spot for picnics and sunbathing. Balmoral boasts a range of waterfront dining options, allowing visitors to savor delicious cuisine with a stunning view of the Sydney Harbour. The iconic Rotunda and the nearby Balmoral Baths add to the charm of this picturesque beach. Avoid the fish and chip tourist trap. The costs are astronomical and the food is average. The boathouse is a nicer option if they are open.
Bronte Beach:
Another beautiful beach found along the famous Bondi to Coogee coastal walk. Bronte Beach is renowned for its golden sands, clear waters, and family-friendly atmosphere. Surrounded by grassy parks and ocean pools, it's a popular spot for swimming, picnics, and coastal walks along the scenic Bondi to Coogee coastal trail. There is something really special about Bronte during sunrise so if you are an early riser, get yourself to Bronte for a swim in the beutiful ocean pool.

Whether you're seeking adventure, relaxation, or simply a day in the sun, Clovelly beach, Gordon's Bay, Bondi beach, Dee Why, Whale Beach, Balmoral beach, Bronte Beach, Palm beach and Garie Beach each provide a unique and unforgettable experience.
